Today we're going to be taking a look at the Camco refrigerator vent cover in white, part number CAM42160. It's, also, available in black, part number CAM42163. This vent cover keeps dirt and debris off your RV's refrigerator vent. Here you see it in black. We have the white one installed. It's made out of RV resistant polypropylene, so it's going to be durable and stand up to harsh sun rays. It fits Camco, Dometic, and newer Norcold bases, and the installation hardware is included.
It can even be cut out to accommodate your solar panel. It's intended for a base that's twenty-six inches long and seven and a half inches wide. It's a very simple installation. After removing your old vent cover, you'll simply take the mounting brackets, you'll attach them to the base. You want to make sure that they're in the upward position, like that. Once you get those mounted, with the smaller screws first, you'll then take your new vent cover, align that up, make sure it sets in place, and then you'll take the longer screws, and choose the appropriate hole.
